Our Worship

WHAT IS PRAISE AND WORSHIP?

Praise and worship is a part of our church services set aside to sing songs of love and gratitude to the Lord. The purpose is to help gather all our wandering thoughts and begin to focus on Jesus. We praise Him because we are thankful for all His acts of kindness on our behalf. As believers, our hearts are full gratitude and we are excited that He died for us and rose again - to live in our hearts and put us in right-standing with God. We worship Him for loving us despite our frailties. Worship is an act of bowing before God in humility, acknowledging that He is wonderful, beautiful, powerful, and mostly, acknowledging that we love Him.

The songs we sing in our services are contemporary, upbeat, powerful songs that bring us into an attitude of praise and worship. The church band includes guitars, drums, keyboards, worship team and other contemporary instruments. The Bible says to make a joyful noise before the Lord. Each member of the praise and worship band loves to make a joyful noise and plays to bless Jesus.
